I have published more than 250 stories in dozens of magazines including Rolling Stone, Outside, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, FHM, Salon, Bicycling, and Big Brother Skateboarding. I am a contributing editor of Mountain Bike. My writing also appeared in Hollywood Interrupted, the New York Times nonfiction bestseller. In general I write about people, places, and things at the limits of human experience.
